It’s that time again, gallery update. But, unfortunately weather has been poor and that is evident by the small amount of painting this month. Nevertheless we appreciate those faithful painters and those who send in their pictures. We have also filled-in with some leftover NuArt pictures. And there is still more NuArt around town, that is waiting to be discovered. On other news, Stavanger Graffiti is thinking of doing some profiling (PR stuff, like stickers). However, it would be good to hear what our visitors think, so leave you opinion in a comment. And we will see what happens!
D-faces paste-ups improve the gray cement structures in town. However his main project can be seen on a great wall by the Storhaug tunnel.
During the NuMusic festival Graffiti Research Lab (GRL) from New York, USA educated the NuArt spectators with a Throwie workshop. Throwies, LED light attached to a battery and a strong magnet. The magnet makes them well suited for throwing at metallic objects. The GRL group came up with the idea after experimenting with conductive paint and LEDs in their graffiti. After assembling their first throwies, public interest was awoken.
We are pleased to present our new webpage design, although our old pages were some what personalized, we have personalized this design a little more. Hopefully this is refreshing, and marks the continuation of our Stavanger Graffiti profile.
